Savannah Walton, AMFT

Therapist

Savannah Walton is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for supporting individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and life transitions. She understands that the process of healing—especially in early recovery—can feel overwhelming, and prioritizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up authentically and explore their experiences at their own pace.

Savannah takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her work is grounded in a polyvagal-informed, mind–body perspective, helping clients better understand their nervous systems and develop tools for regulation, safety, and connection. Her background in biology informs her understanding of the brain and body, while her experience as a yoga teacher allows her to integrate mindfulness and somatic practices to support clients in reconnecting with themselves.

Her approach draws from evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and attachment-based therapies, while maintaining a strong emphasis on presence, authenticity, and the therapeutic relationship. Whether the focus is on emotional regulation, navigating cravings and triggers, or processing underlying trauma, Savannah supports clients in building insight, strengthening resilience, and reconnecting with a sense of hope in their recovery. Outside of work, Savannah enjoys spending time near the ocean, painting, reading, and practicing yoga.
